Condition guide
Every single card we sell is one specific copy, graded by hand and photographed front and back before it goes on the site. The grade below is our judgement of that copy — but the photograph is the real answer, so look at it. If a card arrives and you disagree with the grade, send it back; see the refund policy.
- Mint
- As it left the pack. No whitening on the edges, sharp corners, a clean surface, and centring within the normal range for the print run.
- Near Mint
- Near perfect. At most one or two tiny flaws you have to tilt the card to find — a speck of edge wear or a faint surface line. Most of what we sell is here.
- Excellent
- Light handling is visible without looking for it: minor edge whitening, small surface scratches, corners still sharp to the eye.
- Good
- Clearly played with. Whitening around the edges or corners, visible surface wear, but no creases and nothing that shows through from the back.
- Light Played
- Heavier wear, and possibly a light crease or a bend that does not break the surface. Still perfectly playable in a sleeve.
- Played
- Significant wear — creasing, edge damage, scuffing across the surface. Sold as a player's copy, not a collector's.
- Poor
- Damaged: heavy creasing, tears, water damage, writing. Priced accordingly and always photographed so you can see exactly what it is.
Graded cards
Slabs carry the grading company's own number — PSA, BGS, CGC — and we do not re-grade them. The number on the label is the number on the listing, with the certification number where the company publishes one.
Sealed product
Sealed boxes and packs have no card grade. They are sold unopened and in the state pictured; where a box has shelf wear on the outer wrap, the photograph shows it.
